Richard, The Intrepid had installed the New Navsat and the New Omega system for evaluation and navigation use. Intrepid sent reports (inclosed) of problems. first I liked the Omega because of good accuracy and continuious fixes, where Navsat was very accurate but had fixes only when the sat was above the horizon, even then we had to type some of the needed information to complete the fix. The Omega in the baltic and Med gave pin point fixes while my Celestial with good fixes where some time 10 plus NM off. I was sending my reports to MR. Ernest Brown of HO. You may be interested in the Intrepid report on Navlist of 28 Feb 2011 "Omega from Intrepid." The report may have helped SAT?
