I've just finished reading a book that I want to heartily recommend to the list. It's "The Perfect Storm" by Sebastian Junger and it describes the worst storm in 100 years to hit the Northeast US and the Grand Banks. It's not a "hot-to" book but a "what is this" book. Well written and well documented.
