    Frank Reed, replying to Wolfgang's posting, stated that the image he
    referred to, at -

    which he referred to as the "15 June" case, had "about 15 pixels per minute
    of arc". Where did he find that information? The image that's downloaded to
    me looks far more "bitty" than that, but then, the jaggy look could have
    occurred at a later stage.
    
     It seems inherently unlikely that the resolution was anything like that. 15
    pixels per minute would require about 450 pixels across the Moon, and nearly
    3000 pixels across the gap between Moon and Jupiter, which is only part of a
    screenwidth (and it's not clear where the screen width limits are). Would
    that ever be possible, even with the highest-qualitydigital camera?
