Dear List, Last week I have been in Paris, joining the annual SIS conference from 25 to 29 May. Among several museums, the Observatoire de Paris and the Eiffel Tower we also visited the homes of two of the members. At one of these occasions we came across a late 19th century planisphere especially made for lunar distances. With kind permission of the owner I was allowed to make the planisphere and its manuals digitally available to the group. I trust it many of you will be able to analyse the items in depth and discuss it on-list. The planisphere and its manuals can be downloaded from my server at: http://80.60.26.60/PlanisphereLD.zip best regards, Nicols --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
