I agree that the Plastimo looks exactly like the EBBCO. Given the low sales volume of sextants, I can't imagine that Plastimo would go off and copy the EBBCO. Plastimo is a pretty savvy supplier of nautical supplies; I suspect they bought the molds from EBBCO.
