Hello to everybody, I've recently bought a Plath kriegsmarine sextant (aluminum frame) on eBay and I'm giving it a good clean. I've easily removed the mirrors, filters, micrometer, etc from the frame but I can't figure out how to remove the alidade. Can anyone help with suggestions or a sketch? Do you know if a servicing manual for Plath sextants exists? Yhanks.
