    Interesting discussion guys.
    All my referances say (or indicate) that you plot your DR until there
    is a FIX. Then the DR is continued from that FIX. The "distance log" is
    not zeroed out, but continued. The distance reading at the time of the
    FIX is recorded with the FIX plot. Since the Log is reading distance
    through the water, DR is going to be *someplace around here*. My log
    rolls over to zero after 999.99.
    Considering we are using a plotting sheet for a graphical reference
    what sort of accuracy are we expecting?
