A new way of posting has recently been introduced, directly from browsers in the Navlist archive. I'm all in favour of the way sender's addresses have been recoded, to avoid their email details being automatically stripped away when the "@" symbol has been detected. But a problem remains. All such postings appear in my inbox as though they are from, and their sender can only be identified by searching within the message. But , if this way of sending becomes popular, that's going to make using "find" to search out an email in the inbox much more difficult. If I am searching out a particular posting from the past, one of the first tests is to identify its sender, who I can usually remember, and specify his email address in the "from" column. Is there any way in which a sender from the archive can have his email address, encoded in any way that's thought fit, included in the "from" part of the header?
