Dear lunartics, New precomputed lunar distance tables for 2005 are online at http://www.math.uu.nl/people/wepster/index.html I have written a short introduction to them, which contains a short description of how they were computed. You will also find a table of proportional logarithms there. I am considering to drop the text version of the tables, so if you find them useful please leave a message. I have hardly any time to read the nav-l mailing list. I get a weekly digest but I am weeks behind reading them. So if you want to contact me about the tables, I suggest you do so off-list. Enjoy, Steven
