Published, Shackleton and Worsley, Journey to South Georgia Island

I am pleased to announce the publication of our paper on the Frank Worsley's log of the journey from Elephant Island to South Georgia Island.  You will find it online, here

    https://www.canterburymuseum.com/research/records-of-the-canterbury-museum/records-of-the-canterbury-museum/

In the paper, you will find high quality imaged of Worsley's log, a definitive transcript and an explanation of the parts.   Yes, you finally get to see the log itself, something I have kept deliberately hidden for years.

Some may ask why we did not publish elsewhere.  It was a two fold decision.  Firstly, the log itself resides at the museum and secondly, to publish those high quality images would have cost us a fortune.  By agreement with Canterbury Museum, we were able to avoid those fees.

We look forward to any feedback you may have

    Best Regards

    Brad
