Rene, I don't think you can solve a problem until it has been defined. And you perhaps haven't defined this one yet. If you know what lighthouses you are looking at and have map co-ordinates for them, the answer is probably yes. If you are simply generalizing to say "I have observed two points and know the angle between them" the answer is probably no. (Or at best, a line rather than a point location.) Why don't you formally restate exactly what information you do and don't have? Are you working only with compass bearings, no map positions no data on the lighthouses? Or...? Do you have the heights of the lights and can you use a sextant to measure that as an angular distance, or again, just what was first stated?
