    Hey, Frank,

Thanks! I did find that journal abstract. But you're right, some of the wording there sounds kinda... odd. I also found out Aquino was on the international fish congress, which was apparently put together in order to standardize fish nomenclature internationally. The Brazilian representative to the congress was Aquino.

There isn't a table of contents in the book. The book as a whole is bound together in green bonder leather boards with gilt lettering on the spine. The contents appear to be several separate "books" listing all the azimuth tables and what-not. One is in English and the rest are in Portuguese. And the publication dates of each separate book are different: 1926, 1938, 1939, 1942, 1943. The whole thing was bound together (and signed) in 1943. And I might add that the binding, while very tight and nicely done, was not done with great attention to detail, the title page to the English section appears several pages before the section in English, being separated by many pages in Portuguese.

    Dave
