As promised, here’s the first celnav problem taken
from my father’s notes.
On July 19, 1960 aboard the Lloyd Triestino M/V Livenza en
route from Italy to the Far East in estimated position 27deg 21’ N 123deg
46’ E (Japan Sea) the following sights are taken:

Antares 10
54 49 GMT Hs 32deg 20’,5
Spica 10
56 48 GMT Hs 45deg 10’,2
Dubhe 10
58 55 GMT Hs 37deg 55’,0
I.E. = 0
