I have read news articles that say that some islands have shifted their
positions by up to an estimated 50 meters, so I know that some charts may need
to be revised. I do not know about more global changes
though...

Subject: Recent earthquake activity in Southeast Asia
There have been some comments in the press
regarding the effect of this geophysical activity on the planet's axis and a
possible related correction requirement to time standards.
Does anyone have any comments on the veracity of
these comments or is it the product of someone's overactive
imagination?
Thanks.
