"Occultation on the March Equinox, I wonder what the "right brain-ers" will make of that."
Well, ya know, there's a verse from that great publisher of almanacs, Michel de Nostredame, or latinized "Nostradamus", that has always puzzled me:
On the Equinoctial Ascending
In the Village of James portending
The lesser King will unthrone
In the Umbra of Eris gone
The Heart of the Lion slain
Then Mammon there will reign
[translated from the French; Century I, Quatrain 1: 1555 Lyon Bonhomme edition]
It's often been suggested by doomsayers that the "Village of James" refers to "New York" (named after James, Duke of York, future King James II of Great Britain). And of course, Regulus means literally "little king". Of course, it could be just a coincidence. Google the verse for more.
