    Stan,

Here are a few problems I've found with the noon sight application so far:

    1. There is an option to select artificial horizon, but no option for a center of the body observation. Usually, when I do noon sights, I overlay the two sun images. Of course, this may have been intentional, but it makes it a bit harder to use any data I have.

    2. There seems to be a bug when checking the DST box. I tried entering data from a round I shot on 5 July, 2012. After checking the DST box, the program will not let me enter the correct time in the "Observed ZT of LAN" field. Hovering over the field produces the message, "Range 111328 to 124427 (121328 to 134427 if DST) for Auto ZD". But, when I enter my observed time of 131034, I get an "Out of Range" error. If I change the value to 121034, the error dialogue does not present but the program "hangs" and will not let me enter/change data in any other field until I delete the time. However, the "Get Zone time of LAN" button does enters the correct time for my Longitude and allows the other fields to be filled in.

    3. The "Almanac-Dec" section has, so far, always produced a declination of 0°00.0' for the Sun. This, of course, results in huge errors in terms of the Latitude calculations.

Apart from those, I'd like to say "great job" on the sight planning application! It seems to have all of the features of other programs I've used rolled into one, plus a little more. I really like the "Best Bodies Aid", I just wish it would rotate a little faster. The ability to click and drag it directly would be ideal. And the view options (overhead, starfinder, horizon) are a big win in my book.

The "Favorite Places" application is convenient. It is a little awkward having to switch windows twice to use it, though. (Once to the main window if the F.P. window is not already open and then to the F.P. window.) Maybe the option to set one location as "default" could be incorporated? Then, that location could be auto-entered in any window opened subsequently. Or maybe you could include a "Favorite Places" button/menu item in each window that has Lat/Lon fields? IDK.

I'll keep testing and let you know if I find anything else.

    Regards,
    Sean C.
