    Rather than the internet I would suggest the local library, and a high
    school maths textbook which explains trigonometry.
    
    I won't try to rewrite one of these, other than to suggest that the basic
    formulae are summed up in the politically incorrect mnemonic SOH CAH TOA
    (Some Old Hags Can Always Hide Their Old Age) where
    
    sine = opposite/hypotenuse
    
    cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse
