I am a dirt poor farmer eking out an existence on the drought ridden slopes of the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. My closest metropolis is Yass...population about 5000. Sextants and navigation techniques are things that keep me amused (and sane) in the evenings. My sailboat of choice( which I don't yet own) is a Bowman 47, Holman and Pye design, production unique to Australia, built by Swarbricks or Prestige of Fremantle, Western Australia. The Bowman 46,48, and some of the 49's are similar, perhaps not as heavily built, and are to be seen elsewhere in the world, including America. I am in the process of making the transformation from farms to Bowman 47. Hope this clarifies. Lee Martin
