    I also have one sold by Sewell's of Liverpool, with no hint of its Russian origin. Later in 1991 I visited the factory in St. Petersburg to import some. Their sales presentation included the fact that the gray paint used on the box was "fall-out" resistant. I think I said something patronizing like "Wow. nice!". But their asking price was way too high to consider. Probably because I didn't bribe the Director.

    Mine has no vernier... It is a SNO-T like all others, the only difference that I could see is the inventory list in English (but nicely hand written with reference to USSR army files).
