Modris - I think the box for the SNO-T is adequate and am gled the Soviets elected to put the majority of the expense into the sextant. I might also note that the quality of the case varies - I have two, one is quite a bit better that the other. Major points of difference are the quality of the wood and finish, plus the case latch. The design is essentially the same between the two. I'm sure Bill can give more information on this. Cheers!
