Many sources point to a milestone investigation of the potential of airborne astro navigation using sextants carried out at Langley Field, Virginia, during 1918-1919 under Henry Norris Russell, aided by J. P. Ault. Russell published his findings in his "Report on the Navigation of Aircraft by Sextant Observations" (Proceedings Astronoical Sciety of the Pacific, June 1919 Vol. 31 No. 181 pp 129-149). Has anyone got a copy - electronic or otherwise - of this document?
