Just trying to think this through, they seem to work like a technique I do know. You take a sheet of clear plastic and on it plot the 3 angles or bearings to a common point. Then fit that over the chart so the lines intersect the 3 features and the point is the fix. Still grappling with the 'circular LOP'. How do you know where to describe the circle? The distance off is usually what you are trying to establish.
