Hi, Was wondering if anyone knows of any "good" pictures, or diagrams perhaps, showing the arm's pivot pin constructions on various model sextants from different mfg's. Am very curious as to how the different manufacturers handle(d) the engineering of this. Is it usually just a cylindrical bushing, a tapered bushing, or... ? How is slop/slack taken out over the years ?
