    Thank you Jackson!  That was a stellar experience (pun fully intended :)

    H.O.138 Sailing Directions for Antarctica has some marvelous images as well.  For example, attached is a picture from that book of Joinville Island [Ellsworth Expedition].  This island, highest peak is Mt. Percy, was noted by Worsley in his log book.  Ditto Clarence Island was observed as they first took to the boats.  

    The Directions pop up from time to time on Ebay.  Its Antarctica from the perspective of a sailor.
