It is interesting that there is some (albeit small) variability in the values from different sources. Here are results (just RA) from XEphem (Version 3.7.5-RC6 January 30, 2010; a Delta T value of 68.39s used): Equinox J2000 topocentric: 5h 19m 36.17s geocentric: 5h 19m 36.41s Equinox of Date topocentric: 5h 20m 25.33s geocentric: 5h 20m 25.10s -- Richard Langley Quoting Sean C: > Stellarium agrees with the other posted figures: > > RA: 5h 20m 27s > Dec: N 25° 09' 34" > > -Sean C. > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > NavList message boards and member settings: www.fer3.com/NavList > Members may optionally receive posts by email. > To cancel email delivery, send a message to NoMail[at]fer3.com > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > > : http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=124157 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Richard B.
