The generation of time histories of ship motions, 6-DOF, is a routine part of naval hydrodynamics. These are used to assess the performance of various ship systems as a function of sea state, ship heading, and ship speed. Typically a sea spectrum is convoluted (multiplied) with the ship response operator to generate a motion spectrum is then is used to generate a time history. Various alternatives exist.
Much analysis is done of full and model scale time histories is done to improve the prediction methodology.
Just provide the hull geometry and weight distribution, and you can get a time history for any motion, at any point, in any sea state, at any speed, for any heading. (within reason)
