    if you type the following in google map search field
    N 64° 40.7' E 021°14.7'
    you will be within "shouting distance" from my place of work.
    As you can see my place of Work is neighbour to Skelleftea Harbour, I actually walk past it every day to/from work.
    the drifting snow is what is on the ice (which I like skiing on), there also are the hard to see mini "icebergs" and ridges.
    at pressent the Ice here is mostly drifice (if you get out from imediate proximity to land) but it is growing, here is a link to PDF of current local ice information

    As for me being even further north than the dozen+ miles short of N66° where Bay of Bothnia has its northernmost limit, The explanation is fairly simple, I have relatives that live few hundred meters from shore of North Atlantic in Norway (bit north of Bodø), both them, me and my wife like sailing...
