To time observations, I have used an electronic stopwatch with 10 memories. It can be started at a known time using a separate clock or a radio time tick. Pressing the "split" button stores the elapsed time at that instant into a memory. This minimizes the workload during the observing run. The stopwatch also indicates time of day with excellent precision. Its monthly rate (that's how often I check it) is predictable within 3/4 of a second. Unfortunately, it's not possible use that part of the watch to "hack" the stopwatch function! When you select stopwatch mode, the time of day is no longer visible. -- I block messages that contain attachments or HTML. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to NavList@fer3.com To , send email to NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
