Once in a while question pops up "is there software to draw scales?". Usually, this happens in relation to flat Bygrave or similar topic. Here is a link to a program written by ham radio enthusiast. http://tk5ep.free.fr/tech/abaqueROS/datas/Galva_185-3L.zip My understanding that originally it was designed to draw scales and faceplates for various ham hardware, but eventually grew up into something that is capable of handling, for example, circular slide rules. I did not run the program and most of the documentation seems to be in some language I do not understand, but sample files included with it look impressive. I myself use postscript when I need to draw almost anything consisting of repetitive elements (including scales), but I can imagine how someone may find learning postscript intimidating and this program may be helpful. nsg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NavList message boards: www.fer3.com/arc Or post by email to: NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
