Hi, Just a thought. I wonder if they could split Bowditch into two volumes. Volume 1 could be "Modern Electronic Navigation" and Volume 2 could be "Traditional Celestial Navigation" w/o electronic aids and would also include a chapter or two on the history of navigation and the different methods of sight reduction like they used to have except better. After thought. Perhaps even a Volume or section on the mathematics involved. Not a "watered down" 8th stuff, but like the old Norie's with sections on geometry, trig, and so on. -- Gordon -- ,,, (. .) +-------------------------ooO-(_)-Ooo------------------------+ | Gordon Talge WB6YKK e-mail: gtalge@pe.net | | Department of Mathematics http://www.lbusd.k12.ca.us | | Wilson High School Long Beach, CA | | (o- Debian / GNU / Linux | | //\ The Choice of the GNU Generation | | v_/_ .oooO | | - E Aho Laula - ( ) Oooo. - Wider is Better - | +-------------------------\ (---( )-------------------------+ \_) ) / (_/
