George H, you wrote: "Frank denigrates the Astronomer Royal as "not knowledgeable on lunars". " Was I wrong in that? Was he knowledgeable on lunars? Do you know?? And you wrote: "I have asked Frank before now, on several occasions, to explain to us his own qualifications and experience in determining lunars fron a vessel AT SEA. He has never responded." I think you've asked me that once --re Slocum about three months ago. But ask yourself this: why would I answer this question when you have repeatedly mocked, attacked, and dismissed my results for land-based lunars?? Based on this empirical evidence, your question doesn't strike me as an honest inquiry --it seems more like a deliberate setup so that you can throw some of your little spitballs. That's how you come across, George, from where I sit. -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
