George-
It’s a tad pricy, but Citizen makes a bunch of chronographs (watch & stopwatch combination) that are also atomic clock synchronized. I find I can work sextant & watch singlehandedly ( a necessity since my family views such pursuits with barely contained amusement), and the atomic watch bit means you don’t have to keep track of when you last synchronized. The buttons on my Navihawk are sized large enough to be worked with gloves (it’s a pilot watch). Waterproof to 200m. Get them half priced on E-bay.

Subject: [NavList] Stopwatch advice
Is there a tried and tested "waterproof" stopwatch on the market. My children are young, so one that can take a beating would be nice. I am currently using a digital watch, but tired of fumbling with tiny buttons.
Thank you in advance.
