It's upon us again. On February 11, the Sun arrives on the meridian later than on any other day of the year. Noon is late because the Sun is slow. It's about 14 minutes 13 seconds slow on this "Sun Slow Day". If you picture the analemma as a big lazy figure eight, then "Sun Slow Day" is that spot on the fat low side of the figure eight as far to the left as you can get...
