An April 1st reference and kidding?  I never made the connection.>

Sure, the same conundrum I pointed out a long while back regarding the
strict 0!4 4SD test for accepting or rejecting IE/IC from the sun without
interpolation of N.A. SD.  Same measurements the day before the jump and the
day after the jump.  One set is accepted and the next is reject or vice
versa.
