Thanks Bruce for sharing this info.
I also share Bill's opinion about Russian sextants and Indian dealers but would add that they tend to be on the high end of the market in terms of asking prices (even whithout including their typical international shipping fare of 60$) .

It may seem churlish to say so, but it is a pity that you excluded Russian sextants, which are generally excellent, and those on sale from the Indian sub-continent, whose dealers I have found to be just as honourable as those elsewhere.
