Whilst laid low with flu, I stumbled upon a page in my 1918 Inman’s, which has been on my floordrobe for decades, and gives all-haversine examples of the 3 CN problems, including ex- meridians. Attached.
In your 6 Oct 2018 post you show a long-hand Hav ex-meridian example. I am bemused by the factor .5235, and the units in “t squared” etc.
