That is really clever it makes one wonder why nobody thought of it before. Kudos! I assume it is your voice we hear on the video, good to hear a real voice from one of our members. As you said, you can always use the center of the rose for the AP and it doesn't have to be a whole degree of longitude, there is no reason the center verticle line has to be a meridian, it can have any longitude you want it to have. You can then draw your graticle to make it so. In fact, you don't need to draw the graticle at all since it is only there to make plotting easier with dividers.
