John, I am quite suprised that your online almanac doesn't calculate GHA and Declination to the nearest 0.1' when you input the time. From there you can directly input the data into HO 229. The only reason for the table in the first place is to save space in the book. As was mentioned earlier, with planets and the moon, you will need the "v" factor to even use the tables. I hope that they give you these factors online or else you may be off some tenths of a minute in your calculation.
