I received this information from the Carnegie Institution in Washington, DC. I found the information quite interesting and I thought I would pass it along. Somewhat relevant.
I'm still doing a little more work on the "Dip" topic..... without any servings of "wild goose", or tilting at windmills, or seeing odd forms under a rainbow. I intend to take/check a few more measurements. Then all data will be available to everyone.
For the cruises of the Galilee and Carnegie, the navigator's log books are available in Washington, D.C. One of these days I hope to look at them.
Best regards,
Bruce
