This is very true. Some shots just "feel" better than
others. I know it as soon as i take my eye from the scope. This is
also a factor in my determination of LOP quality, but I can't figure a way
to quantify how good or bad the shot will be. I certainly mark it on my
rough sight log however to add or subtract weight during the plotting
process.
To me this is the "art" part of navigation that can't be taught by
books or even others.
