Hello all. I use, or I have been using "Tides and Currents for DOS" running on my palmtop HP-200, which is a hand held DOS based computer to predict Tides and currents and it has been great until December 31. It seems that in 1999 my HP handheld changes to 4 year date field i.e. from 98 to 1999 and this software hence became a premature mortality to the Y2K problem. I called the company, and they say they don't plan to fix their DOS software and they sent me their windows version, which is fine for my desk but won't run on my palmtop. Does anyone know of a DOS program that will accurately predict tides for a given location? I really miss my old software, having it on the boat was the nicest aid to navigation, short of Polaris. any advice greatly appreciated. J.
