    Time Sight and Ex Meridian Latitude

    Thanks Henry for the time sight mention, in the On Line Almanac thread, which has given me a reminder to post what you well know:

    ...... the time sight, with an azimuth, is a whole lot easier and quicker to plot on a chart or plotting sheet than any Marc St Helier geometry.

    ..... although the ex meridian latitude, with an azimuth, is the easiest of all to plot.

    ..... and both are quicker and easier to plot than a Lat and Long read off the front screen of the GPS, and barely a mark is left on the chart other than the LOP itself.
