A time sight can be crossed with a LOP from the same observation to get a single observation fix. This is not actually a fix (more like a running fix)since an assumed latitude is needed to perform the time sight. If there is an uncertainty to the assumed latitude then two time sight fixes can be plotted to make the classic Sumner line. If the uncertainty is small the actual fix position can be assumed to be bracketed between the two time sights which I call a Sumner Bracket. See the attached plot which shows the time sight/LOP fix and a Sumner Bracket that assumes 2' of latitude uncertainty.
