I’m afraid all I did was flick through the Air Almanac until I found the date and time to the nearest 10 minutes when the Sun’s declination changed from S to N.

Might that be because the Sun’s not a point source? How long does it take to push 32’ of Sun across the Equator? 50 seconds?? Just a thought. DaveP
