Can anyone tell me where does this thread begins?
I tried the custom index, entered the dates from 2000 to 2015
and obtained 7 messages, all titled
Re: Troughton and Simms sextant.
Where is the message without "Re" ?
It is possible that TS was the best manufacturer that ever existed (not counting SNO-T,
of course this is a different epoch:-)
I own a little one, pocket size, traveler's (or surveyor's) sextant and it is
also a little marvel. (It reads only to 1', on a 2.5 inch scale, but I took
Lunars with it, and obtained good results, by averaging, of course, believe it or not).
