Just a reminder, I think nearly all NavList regulars are aware that there are quite a few other sources for nautical almanac data and also for officially-sanctioned paper editions of "The Nautical Almanac". The data is not the issue. The reason there was some extra interest in the official US Nautical Almanac is simply that it was listed late last summer at an unusually low price: $25, US shipping included. It's difficult to find a used copy from recent years of the official "nautical orange" US almanac at a price that low, and in a year with, let's call it, "significant" US inflation this was an anomaly! Since it is no longer in stock with plans for a second print run cancelled, that ship has sailed. It will be interesting to see what price they publish at the end of this summer for next year's orange Nautical Almanac.
