Further to the announcement that Celestial should be used in preference to GPS at sea, and conscious of the need for Bridge Officers to always retain night vision in their sextant eye, the Navy has authorised the use of USN Black eyepatches for use while working over the chart table. These items are now available in your Navy Exchange at $6ea. Warning. Remember to move eyepatch to one side before taking observations.
