Referring my question >> Do the graphs in the 1976 supplement for heights of 40, 60 and 80km >> actually >> show typical temperature profiles for different latitudes? Paul answered > Yes, the set of three graphs (for 40, 60, 80 km) is labeled "Mean annual > temperature variation with latitude." Latitude is on the horizontal axis > and temperature on the vertical. The observation stations are marked on > the latitude scale (Ascension, Cape Canaveral, Primrose Lake, Thule, > etc.). For each station a point is plotted, and a curve drawn through > the points. These curves are of interest. Could you please indicate the numbers of the figures and the page number. It seems that I do not get around ordering some copies at "my" library in CH. Thank you for finding this link. It really would be of interest to me. But all the FTP sites I tried did not open. Is it an admission problem, or, a problem of a port not opened on the router? I do not know at the moment how to get at these data. Will keep trying. Marcel
