The Intrepid is now a memoral in NY. and it plays a part in the history of navigation as out lined in the attachments. They include the early part of Omega and Satellite systems. Much of the 1977 NO.9 new over the previous NO.9 Piloting section was developed or practice on the Intrepid as well as (new,1971)the Radar Navigation Manual HO. PUB. NO. 1310. edited by Mr E. B.
