    Hi John, I didnot actually see the photos, so I kinda have no clear idea on how exactly would Capt.Beebe secure his watch to his wrist. But since you have mentioned that the watch can be fastened to the dashboard, I reckoned that the Heuer being discussed here is definitely still of the traditional pocket watch type, with it's crown and pause button sticking up at 12 and 11 o'clock.  But instead of a makeshift wrist bracket,wouldn't it be a little more convinient if I just hold the watch in my left hand and using only the index finger to actuate the watch?
